Child Safety Standards Policy

Effective Date: February 08, 2026

QQ App ("QQ", "we", "our", or "us") is dedicated to fostering a safe and positive environment for all users, with a particular emphasis on protecting children and minors. We strictly adhere to Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and all relevant local, national, and international laws regarding child safety, data privacy, and the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).

This policy details our commitments, standards, and procedures to ensure the safety of children on our platform. We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child endangerment, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

App Audience and Age Appropriateness

QQ is a social messaging app designed for general audiences, including users under the age of 13 with appropriate safeguards. We have accurately declared our target audience in the Google Play Console and implement age-appropriate features, content filtering, and restrictions to comply with Families policies.

If your account indicates you are under 13, certain features may be limited to ensure compliance with COPPA and other regulations.

Prohibited Content and Behavior

We explicitly prohibit any content or behavior that involves CSAE, including but not limited to:

Violations of these standards will result in immediate account suspension or termination, content removal, and reporting to relevant authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where required.

Moderation and Enforcement

We employ a combination of automated detection tools, AI-powered moderation, and human review teams to monitor user-generated content and interactions. Suspicious or flagged content is reviewed promptly, with high-priority cases addressed within 1 hour.

Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE, we take immediate action, including:

All moderation staff receive regular training on identifying and handling child safety issues.

In-App Reporting and Feedback Mechanism

To empower users to help maintain a safe community, QQ provides easy-to-use in-app tools for reporting concerns:

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours, with urgent child safety issues prioritized. Users can also access our full Community Guidelines and Safety Tips via the app's settings menu.

Data Collection, Privacy, and Parental Consent

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in full compliance with COPPA. Our Privacy Policy (available in-app and on our website) clearly explains:

Parents or guardians can contact us at privacy@qqcommumity.com to review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's data. We support device-level parental controls and offer guidance on supervising children's app usage.

Advertising and Monetization

Advertisements in QQ are age-appropriate and comply with Google Play's Ads and Monetization policies for families. We use certified ad SDKs and avoid interest-based ads for users under 13, opting for contextual advertising only.
